The struggle for me is that I try to have my hand in a lot of different pots. Multitasking isn’t always my friend…
But honestly the biggest problem is the guilt of not working enough, of not feeling like I can’t sit down until everything is done.
Which who am I kidding the list will never be done, things will always be getting added to the list.
So, how do I manage that, how do I say, that is enough for the day?
Here is what I have tried:
Make a manageable list of what can be done that day
Make a need to get done list & a want to get done list
Make a list of the scheduled things for the day
Take small breaks throughout the day
Go for walk with your dog
Eat lunch in a different area than you work
Stop when your kids get home or when you get home from work to hang out with them, at least for a little bit
Plan the night before, best self co. or bullet journalling
Don’t be afraid to put things on the “to do list” for the next day
Most importantly be realistic
